Melitta Readies Campus Tour

Melitta will tout its Ready, Set, Joe One-Cup coffeemaker with a sampling program slated to reach 300,000 students. Sample packs include a Ready, Set, Joe cone, a packet of filters, and coupons for $2 off Melitta coffee and $1 off filters.

Colleges' residential services staff will deliver samples to dorm rooms; community college students get samples in their schools' student centers rather than dorms.

"College students are known for pulling all-nighters, and with our new brewing system, they can enjoy a fresh cup of their favorite coffee in their dorm rooms anytime, night or day," said senior product manager Kerrie Tobin in a statement.

This is the third year of a Melitta college tour. Euro RSCG Impact, Atlanta, handles.
