To make lips stand out, try a lip plumper with a sheer, vibrant color that pops.

That’s just some of the advice girls and women are receiving during The Great Beauty Tour, which makes stops at festivals, events and retail stores across the country. Maybelline New York and Garnier Nutritioniste are the co-presenters.

Last Wednesday, the tour made its sixth stop at Longs Drug in Walnut Creek, CA. Charles Hezekiah, best known for his makeovers seen on "Oprah," "Movie and a Makeover" and "The Martha Stewart Show," arrived with a team of beauty experts. The consultants offered free makeover, tips and advice to customers in the traveling studio. Samples were handed out from the new spring 2008 line, including Mineral Power Liquid Foundation, Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara, Volume XL Seduction Lip and Nutritioniste Skincare Products.

Longs Drug played the event up as “at least one affordable accessory during prom season.”

Maybelline pitches the tour as an upbeat, educational, program to help women choose and use skincare products and cosmetics. The tour ends in August in Minneapolis, MN.
