PPAI Debuts Advocate Program

The Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) wants business executives to know that promotional products work, and distributors are the best resource to develop a promotion to fit their business needs. Those key messages will be delivered to potential buyers through its new ADvocate Program, which is rolling out this month.

The program is designed to prepare industry professionals to deliver 20-minute presentations to buyers through local business organizations. To date, 58 suppliers and distributors have become ADvocates via a training workshop provided by PPAI.

The ADvocates are members of PPAI and a regional association, who provided three recommendations from colleagues as a speaker who possesses ethical standards and professionalism.

To assist the ADvocates in creating their presentations, PPAI developed resource materials and support in marketing their availablity. Groups needing industry speakers can find an ADvocate in their area by using an online search tool at BuildaPromotion.com.

A second workshop is planned for Jan. 9 at The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas.
