Marriott Sweetens the Gift Card Buying Pot

Marriott International is offering customers who purchase a gift card or gift certificate during a limited time frame the opportunity to buy Nestle European chocolates for a bargain.

Between Nov. 12 and Valentine’s Day 2005, gift card buyers can purchase a collection of Perugina European chocolates for an additional $25, a savings of $15 dollars off the retail price.

The tower of chocolates includes a 14-ounce box of Perugina Eleganza Crème Chocolates and a seven-ounce box of Perugina Gran Amore Chocolates and chocolate-covered nuts. The boxes come wrapped in holiday ribbon. The offer is promoted at Marriott.com or via an 800 number.

Marriott offers its gift card in $50 and $100 denominations for golf, spa, dinner and stays at its more than 2,8000 locations worldwide.
