To qualify for the promotion, customers must sign up DSL, DirecTV, long distance or Cingular wireless services by May 4.

"We want to build some excitement and increase customer awareness of our products and services as well as provide additional value," said BellSouth spokesperson Zealous Wiley. "We're looking to provide customers with a complete portfolio of communications services through a grand slam bundle."

Eligible customers will receive BellSouth-branded Visa gift cards worth $75 for DirecTV service with new BellSouth FastAccess DSL service, $50 for DSL service, $50 for Cingular Wireless plans and $25 for unlimited long distance.

The incentive is supported by a print, online, direct mail and radio. New York City-based Grey Worldwide, Atlanta-based Matlock Advertising and Miami-based Bromley Communications handle the promotion.

The Atlanta-based company has 4.9 million customers who subscribe to BellSouth Answers bundles in nine southern states.
