Marriott Reduces Reward Points for Fall Destinations

Marriott Reward members are learning that they won’t have to ante up as many points this fall to stay at destinations popular at this time of year.

Members can use up to 33 fewer points when booking what’s called Fall PointSavers with destinations that include Rancho Las Palmas Marriott Resort & Spa in California and Druids Glen Marriott & Country Club in Ireland.

Members are finding out about the reduced awards and a list of destinations by visiting the Member Specials section at Marriottrewards.com. Marriott offers the rewards reduction quarterly and freshens the destinations.

Members earn points two ways: three points for every U.S. dollar spent or up to 50,000 points per event based on total meeting charges.
