Responsibility Counts

This is one of the most disturbing movies I have heard about, let alone the advertising campaign that they want to do promote this. I am in complete disgust. How can anyone find comedy in suicide? How can one think that it is OK to promote such a topic?

There are many other offenses in this world that raise debates. As it is, the film industry has gotten out of control. They push everything to the limit and call it “art,” so it is all of a sudden “OK.” Then, we ask why our nation has such high murder, suicide and crime rates. Morality has been lost, but it so desperately needs to be revived!

To keep in relationship to marketing, I do feel that marketers have a responsibility to uphold the welfare of the public. Most professions are required to uphold guidelines that govern conduct and the effects on the public. The health care system, the judicial system, you name it…most have to uphold to what is in the best interest of the public. Why shouldn't every profession adopt this same attitude!

Thanks for making us aware of this movie and how it is being promoted.
