COKE: is celebrating the 90th birthday this year of its now famous Coca-Cola contour bottle, considered a pioneering example of package-driven branding, the company said. The prototype was patented on Nov. 16, 1915.

COORS BREWING CO.: is honoring Rosa Navejar, president of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FWHCC), as the 2006 Coors Hispanic Leader of the Year and the FWHCC as the 2006 Coors Hispanic Non-Profit Sponsor of the Year. The award is a tie in to the Coors Líderes campaign launched in June and will appear in a print ad in Hispanic Magazine next month and in a short documentary film debuting in 2007. The FWHCC will receive a $25,000 grant to assist with the development of the Coors Hispanic Leadership Program.
