GM: launched a Hard Day's Work Tour that hit the road last week to showcase GM products to small-business owners. The tour will make stops at Lowe's Home Improvement stores throughout Texas and at job sites where it will feature the all-new Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra full-size pickups, tool giveaways, a sweepstakes to win a 2007 GMC Sierra and a $500 purchase incentive coupon for consumers interested in the purchase or lease of a new vehicle. The tour will make stops in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and El Paso before ending Dec. 18. In-store promotional signage at participating Lowe's stores support.
DOUBLECLICK: is on the streets of New York this week, distributing free cups of coffee to New Yorkers as part of a guerrilla marketing campaign in a search for new employees. About 50,000 cups of coffee will be given out at such locations as Wall St, Midtown and Chelsea. The branded cups include the DoubleClick logo, an e-mail address and the URL of DoubleClick careers Web site, along with many of the titles of open positions.
