JESSICA SIMPSON: has been sued by a California cosmetics company charging that it is owed nearly $200,000 for products it supplied for the Dessert beauty line endorsed by the singer. The suit was filed Oct. 21 by Cosmojet and also names cosmetic retailer Sephora.

RENEGADE MARKETING GROUP: New York City, hired Alan Irikura and Maria Elena Ibarra-James as associate creative directors, both new posts. Irikura had run his own design firm and previously was a designer at Sports Media creating yearbooks for the NFL, NBA and MLB. Ibarra-James had been associate creative director at Vidal Partnership, New York City.
