DAIMLERCHRYSLER:

tapped German national Joe Eberhardt to replace outgoing marketing chief Jim Schroer, an American who joined Chrysler in 2001. Eberhardt is the third German to replace a high-ranking American exec at DaimlerChrsyler since Daimler-Benz's $37 billion acquisition of Chrysler in 1998, per Reuters. His appointment reinforces German control over DaimlerChrysler's U.S. operations.

VIRGIN MOBILE USA, LLC: Warren, NJ, has expanded its marketing team with three new senior marketing executives. They are: Greg Castronuovo, VP-promotion and brand activation; Susan Collins, VP-consumer marketing; and Bob Stohrer as VP-brand and communications.
