Murphy's Irish Stout brings new-world technology to old-school
poetry with a text-message limerick contest.
The St. Patrick's Day campaign invites consumers to complete a limerick
and text in their entry. The top 10 limericks will be posted online via
Murphy's importer Star Brand Imports, White Plains, NY. Posters on- and
off-premise and 250,000 collectible cups tout the contest, which is
executed by mobile marketing service Enpocket, New York City.
Here's the limerick contestants must complete:
There is a young barmaid in Cork,
Who loves to serve Murphy's and pork.
