Monster to Hosts Events in San Antonio

As part of its Today's the Day campaign, online career company Monster will host several events and activities in San Antonio next month during the NCAA Division I Men's Final Four.

Mascots from six universities, including Final-Four participants University of Connecticut and Georgia Tech, will compete against Monster mascot Trumpasaurus in the inaugural Monster Mascot Rodeo on April 4. The Final Four runs April 3-5.

Also on April 4, national recording artists Smash Mouth will perform a concert for fans who are seen wearing Monster bucket hats and visors around San Antonio.

Monster will also conduct an online contest in which the winner receives a trip to the 2005 Final Four in St. Louis.

Monster officially joined the NCAA's Corporate Partner Program in April 2003 after it signed a multi-year contract with CBS Sports.

The company's new brand campaign, Today's the Day, encourages job seekers to further their careers and lives.
