Heinz will put the kids’ artwork on 200 million single-serve packets of Heinz ketchup to be used in foodservice venues, including restaurants and cafeterias.

The kids won Heinz’s Ketchup Creativity contest, which drew 15,000 entries. In addition to the prized placement on ketchup packets, the winners also each get $750 worth of art supplies—and $750 worth of ketchup—for their schools.

Heinz gave kids several design themes to choose from; the theme that drew the most entries was “Heinz in outer space.” Teachers got classroom materials that let them talk about the contest in class.

Heinz chose one winner for each grade level from first through 12th grade. The winners came mostly from Miami and from New York state, with one winner from Minnesota.
