Dollar Thrifty Ups Anderson to CMO

Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. has promoted R. Scott Anderson to senior executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

Anderson, who has been at Dollar Thrifty since 2003, is in charge of revenue growth, sales and marketing, franchising and the company’s distribution channels for the company.

The promotion is a title change for Anderson, which is effective immediately, the company said. Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group is the parent company of Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental brands.
