To play, people cut out a game piece in advertisements in Sunday newspapers or by downloading and printing one at CompUSA.com/CompUSAOnCampus. Customers take the game piece to a local store to have it scanned to see if they are a winner.

One grand-prize winner will receive $10,000. Ten others will each receive an HP Notebook and CompUSA gift cards. Non-winning game pieces will offer a coupon for $5 off a future purchase of $50 or more.

The sweepstakes runs through Aug. 11.

The promotion is part of CompUSA’s back-to-school campaign. This year’s theme, “CompUSA on Campus,” offers discounts on products and technical support and runs through Aug. 25.

A second chance sweepstakes online sweepstakes is available on the site where one grand-prize winner will receive $10,000. And everyone who enters will receive a promotional code for free shipping on all items bought online through Sept. 1.

New back-to-school “campus packs” will be available online each week at CompUSA.com and in CompUSA stores. In-store signage and banner ads on Compusa.com support the sweepstakes.

CompUSA is handling the sweepstakes with advertising agency Schroepfer Wessels Jolesch.
