Chase Serves Up U.S. Open Tix Via ATMs

Starting this week, financial services giant Chase has turned its ATMs into instant-win machines, as it distributes more than 5,000 free tickets to the U.S. Tennis Open to be held in New York City later this summer.

The bank is dispensing the tennis tickets through its 1,789 New York-area ATMs. It's the first time a bank has ever used its ATMs in this kind of sweepstakes, Chase execs said in a release.

Bank customers conduct their deposits and withdrawals per usual—but now through mid-August they should check the back of their transaction slips. Those with a blue tennis ball printed on the back are ticket winners. To guarantee free tickets to the U.S. Open, consumers can open a new account with a $500 minimum deposit or put $10,000 in new money into an existing account.

New York-area TV, radio, outdoor and print ads support.

Chase parent J.P. Morgan Chase is an official sponsor of the Open.
