Archway Marketing Acquired by Union Street Acquisition for $80 Million

Union Street Acquisition Corp. has agreed to acquire Archway Marketing Services, a provider of marketing operations management services, for $80.3 million.

The company also said it plans to purchase privately held direct and interactive marketing agency Razor Business Strategy Consultants for $30 million.

Founded in 1953, Archway has about 580 employees across eight North American facilities and six on-site locations. Its clients include Target, General Motors, AstraZeneca, General Mills, JP Morgan Chase and Microsoft. It reported 2007 revenue of $89 million.

Razor, founded in 2003, has approximately 165 employees. It’s roster of clients includes Domino's Pizza, Rent-A-Center, GameStop, Baskin-Robbins, Wendy's, Wireless Toyz and Habitat for Humanity.
