Quiznos, Ellen Make American Dream a Reality

Quiznos Sub is teaming up with talk show host and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres to give fans a chance to live the American dream of owning their own business—a Quiznos restaurant.

Consumers can plead their case to win a Quiznos Sub restaurant to Ellen DeGeneres

Under the partnership, viewers who tune in to The Ellen DeGeneres Show Web site vie for a chance to win a Quiznos restaurant that will be built around the greater New Orleans area.

To enter, consumers 21 and older can log on to Ellentv.com and describe why they think they should own a Quiznos restaurant. Entries must be received by Feb. 1.

DeGeneres is a native of New Orleans. "We are honored to be working with Ellen to bring renewed hope to a family and help them rebuild their dreams," said Quiznos CEO Rick Schaden in a statement.

The restaurant giveaway is part of Quiznos yearlong celebration of its 25th anniversary. To celebrate the milestone, the Denver-based restaurant chain is giving away 12 Quiznos restaurants (Jan. 18 Xtra).
