PAT ON THE BACK

St. Louis-based Adamson broadened its horizons by acquiring Patrick Promotion, a local shop that had been part of the Brighton advertising agency. The move into promotions will help Adamson, a 19-year-old ad agency with services in p.r., event marketing, and corporate communications, attract larger accounts, says ceo Richard Rubenstein. Adamson will post billings of $52 million in 1999, including one-half year's worth of billings from Patrick.
