Southwest Airlines Stages Caption Writing Contest

Southwest is seeking bloggers via a contest.

Southwest Airlines is using a contest to get people chatting on its blog.

Players who submit captions for a photo supplied by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority on the Nuts About Southwest blog at http://www.blogsouthwest.com get a chance to win a trip to Sin City.

The grand prize also includes a three-night stay at the MGM Grand and registration to the BlogWorld & New Media Expo Nov. 7-9, of which Southwest is a sponsor.

“This contest is just a way for us to have a little fun with our bloggers and to celebrate the relationships we’ve built with them over the past year,” said Paula Berg, a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines, in a statement.

The promo runs through Oct. 26.
