People can nominate themselves or the man in their lives they believe defines the company’s official “Real Man” title. The goal behind the campaign is to show that Gardenburgers, a 100% natural meatless product, aren’t just for vegetarian or women, but for men, too.

Photos can be submitted to RealMenEatGardenBurger.com with a 500-word essay describing what makes a “real” man through Oct. 17. People can vote for the top entry they believe shows the boldest, most creative and original real man Oct. 18 through Nov. 8.

The nominee with the most votes will be crowned America’s Real Man and win an ultimate tailgate package. The grand-prize includes a Ducane stainless steel five-burner LP gas grill, a 42-inch plasma, TV, a year’s supply of Garden burgers and a tailgate party for up to 25 people.

On the microsite, people can take an online “man-o’meter” poll to test their “manliness.” The poll asks various questions, and based on responses, respondents can earn one of four classifications: somewhat manly, quite manly, Arnold-like or girly-man.

Votigo, an online social contest platform, supports the promotion. Visitors to Votigo.com/Gardenburger can also enter the contest or check out the latest entries.
