Toyota Ties Gas Fill Ups to Tire Buys

Toyota is luring tire purchases with free gas cards

Toyota is driving tire purchases at its dealerships with a free gas offer.

People who buy four new tires at a participating Toyota Tire Center will receive a $50 Fill It Up gas card redeemable at any station that accepts American Express cards.

Purchases must total $150 (pre-tax) from any center now through Nov. 30. Consumers can find the nearest dealer or download the mail-in form at http://www.ToyotaOwnersOnline.com. Forms must be received by Dec. 14.

People who apply for the gas bonus online will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes to win a $250 gas card.

“Gas is a relevant and timely offer for our customers and this is a great way to thank them for using our dealerships for all of their maintenance needs,” said Dave Camden, Toyota Motor Sales vice president of dealer operations.

Toyota ran a similar tire promotion last year.
