Borders Kicks off Dream Rewards Sweepstakes

Borders is out with a sweepstakes targeting loyalty program members that sends the winner on a trip to the “50th Annual Grammy Awards.”

To enter, members register their Borders Rewards card number at http://www.BordersDreamRewards.com and answer five Grammy trivia questions. For each correct answer, people will receive one entry.

One grand-prize winner gets a four-day trip to Los Angeles to attend the “Grammy Awards” and an after-party and $500. One person will be randomly selected on Jan. 21.

The Dream Rewards sweepstakes is a part of a quarterly promotion Borders offers to its loyalty club members. Last year, the retailer ran a contest featuring the chance to win a three-night trip to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival to see Harry Connick Jr. (Promo P&I, Feb, 7, 2007).

Since it launched less than two years ago, more than 22 million members have joined Borders Rewards. Members earn $5 in Border Bucks with very $150 qualifying purchase and receive in-store offers and coupons via e-mail.
