Subway is giving customers a new reason to visit its restaurants: school rewards.

The chain has teamed up with SchoolPax, a school fund-raising program, which lets diners earn cash back rewards for the school of their choice every time they eat at a participating restaurant and use their registered Subway Card.

Under the program, customers buy a Subway card, pick a school contribute to and then register the card online at http://www.mysubwaycard.com. Each time a card is used, subway will make a contribution to the chosen school. Cards are available in amounts ranging between $5 and $100 at Subway locations.

“This partnership is a great fit for Subway restaurants since schoolPax provides consumers with a simple, easy way to raise funds for schools and Subway provides consumers with a simple, easy way to eat fresh,” Tony Pace, Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust CMO said in a statement. By eating at Subway they are also helping better their children's schooling."

In store signage and online marketing support the program.
