With 13 Coke-sponsored drivers in the running, the odds are fair that the Coke Zero “Taste of Victory” will be activated. Coke drivers have taken the checkered flag in five of the last six Daytona 400 races.

Coke Zero is the brand the soft drink giant is pushing with sampling at most NASCAR race tracks in its inaugural season of a long-term NASCAR sponsorship.

If a Coke driver wins the Coke-branded race this year, everyone in the U.S. can toast the victory with a free Zero. Fans can go online to www.CokeZero.com between July 5 and July 13 and follow instructions to get a coupon for a free 20-ounce bottle of Coke Zero.

“It would be a great way to top off the first-ever Coke Zero 400 with a celebratory toast in Victory Lane,” Bill Kelly, Coca-Cola brands senior vice president, said in a statement.

Coca-Cola Racing Family drivers include Tony Stewart, Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick, Dennis Hamlin, Mark Martin, Greg Biffle, Elliot Sadler, Bobby Labonte, Michael Waltrip, Clint Bowyer, David Ragan and Jamie McMurray, who won the race last year.
