Sprint Launches Super Bowl XL Halftime Show Sweepstakes

Sprint, the presenting sponsor of the Super Bowl XL Halftime Show, has launched a sweepstakes that grants one grand-prize winner and a guest VIP viewing of The Rolling Stones' live halftime performance.

"Sprint's Grand Prize winner will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime Super Bowl experience—including travel, accommodations and spending money—that culminates with VIP viewing space during The Rolling Stones' Halftime Show," said Steve Gaffney, marketing director for Sprint Nextel, in a statement.

Consumers can enter at Sprint stores and online at at Sprint.com/halftime. Participants can also send a text message with the word "WIN" to the short code "2695" (BOWL) during the sweepstakes period.

The grand-prize winner will receive a trip for two to Super Bowl XL in Detroit featuring on-field viewing location during The Rolling Stones Super Bowl Halftime Show, hotel accommodations and $500 spending money. Five first-prize winners get an electric guitar autographed by The Rolling Stones. Lesser prizes include commemorative Super Bowl XL Halftime Footballs autographed by The Rolling Stones and The Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang CDs.

The sweepstakes is open to consumers 18 and older and runs through Jan. 23. A drawing will take place Jan. 26. Online materials support.
