Discovery Kids and Hasbro Join in Watch and Win Sweeps
What kid, dreaming of becoming a movie star, wouldn't want a
Hollywood-themed bedroom complete with spotlights and a stage.
That's the premise for a new Watch & Win sweepstakes Discovery Kids
and Hasbro have planned to promote via the hit series Trading
Spaces: Boys Vs. Girls.

The Totally Insane Room of Your Dreams sweeps launches Oct. 4 during
the Discovery Kids on NBC programming and runs through Nov.
16.
Kids collect clues from the show and then go to www.discoverykids.com to enter to win the grand
prize: a room of their dreams fashioned by designers from the series.
Thirty-five winners (five from each week) take home something from that
week's episode. Some 600 instant-win prizes will be awarded at
www.discoverykids.com during the promotion.
Print ads in Sports Illustrated for Kids, Teen People,
CosmoGirl, Disney Adventures, Marvel Comics, Jr.,
DC Comics Kids and Nickelodeon Magazine support. TV ads
will run in 16 markets and each spot highlights a Hasbro product. The
campaign will also be promoted through online advertising on kids
sites, on popcorn bags in movie theatres nationwide and in Discovery
Channel stores.
EastWest Creative handles. Trading Spaces: Boys V. Girls debuted
May 17.
