Dollar Rent A Car Launches 40th Anniversary Sweeps

Dollar Rent a Car is giving consumers something to celebrate as it marks 40 years of services with a sweepstakes, in which one grand-prize winner will take home 2006 Dodge Charger.

Consumers can enter the 40th Anniversary Sweepstakes online at Dollar.com and submit a registration form. Customers who rent and pick up a Dollar rental at participating Dollar locations through Sept. 30 will receive one automatic entry.

The top winner will receive a 2006 Dodge Charger. The second-place winner will get a five-day, four-night trip for four to Orlando, FL with airfare, hotel accommodations and a $500 voucher redeemable at Orlando's Official Visitor Center for tickets to Orlando theme parks. The sweepstakes will award daily winners (40 in all) with 75,000 miles (worth about $1,500) under the Delta SkyMiles program.

"We'd like to thank our customers for 40 great years of patronage by giving away some fabulous prizes," said Brian Carpenter, VP-sales, marketing and advertising, in a statement. "We'd like them to help us celebrate Dollar, its history and bright future."
