Court TV To Send Viewers on Island Getaway

Just in time for the holidays, Court TV is giving viewers something to dream about—a trip to a private villa in Jamaica.

The network is launching its first-ever holiday sweepstakes, which will send one grand-prize winner to Half Moon Bay in Jamaica with five guests. The prize package includes a seven-day, six night stay in a private villa, complete with a personal chef, butler and maid service.

Consumers can enter the My Life My Island sweepstakes online beginning Nov. 25 at Courttv.com/sweepstakes. The promotion marks the first time a Court TV sweepstakes is not tied to a network show, said Kathi Palminteri, senior director, consumer promotions for Court TV.

The sweepstakes is designed to offer viewers a respite from the stress of holiday planning, she said.

"People are so crazed from the holidays, they are looking to unwind and relax," Palminteri said. "Court TV is bringing something different [to consumers]." The sweepstakes runs through Dec. 16. TV spots and online materials support.
