American Airlines, Blockbuster Screen Sweeps

American Airlines and Blockbuster have partnered for a sweepstakes that offers consumers a $10,000 travel gift certificate and a digital video camera.

Consumers can enter the Feature Presentation sweepstakes by completing an entry form at AA.com/promo. Participants can earn up to seven additional entries by referring others to the sweepstakes, opting to receive e-mail updates from American Airlines and booking a flight on AA.com.

The sweepstakes, which runs through May 31, is geared to promote American Airline's Web site AA.com and Blockbuster's online rental service. Consumers who enter will receive a free, one-month Blockbuster Online trial membership.

One grand-prize winner get a $10,000 American Airlines Vacation gift certificate—enough to cover a trip for a family of five—and a digital video camera to record their own movie. Lesser prizes include American Airlines incentive travel gift certificates and six-month subscriptions to Blockbuster Online. Internet materials and print ads support.
