KB Toys Plays at Kennedy Space Center

Retailer KB Toys will give one kid a taste of space through a June sweepstakes with the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

The Astronaut Training Experience Sweepstakes will award a grand-prize trip to the space center to meet a NASA astronaut and go through the Space Center's new Astronaut Training Experience attraction, which lets kids experience some of the hands-on training of space flight.

KB also will give customers in its 630 stores a gift with purchase: a space-themed activity book with puzzles, coloring and space facts. The co-branded book, created by the Space Center and KB, carries a bounce-back coupon for KB Toys. P-O-P in all KB mall stores and radio in the top 20 markets supports the month-long promotion. NMA Entertainment & Marketing, New York City, handles for Pittsfield, MA-based KB Toys.
