Rite Aid To Sponsor World Racing Group Events

Rite Aid is expanding its marketing partnership with World Racing Group’s sprint and dirt car races as title sponsor of two events next season.

It adds the Rite Aid Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway, and renews its sponsorship of the Rite Aid 200 at Super Dirt Week in Syracuse, NY.

Rite Aid’s activation around both events will include driver appearances and show car displays. It will also run ticket giveaways for each event at Rite Aid Pharmacies in the Carolinas and the Northeast.

“These are great, long-standing events with dedicated fans and Rite Aid is thrilled to support these exciting races in 2008,” said Jay Ross, Rite Aid vice president of marketing, in a statement.

World Racing Group sanctions sprint car racing under the World of Outlaws banner and big block modified racing under the Advance Auto Parts Super Dirt Car Series.
