U.S. Women's Soccer Team Hosting Golf Tournament

Members of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team will be hosting the first and only all-female golf tournament in December in California to celebrate women and raise funds for the Women's Sports Foundation's GoGirlGo! Initiative.

Starbucks, United Airlines and Limelight Solutions have signed on as sponsors of The All-Female, Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament to be held Dec. 10-12 at the La Costa Resort and Spa, in Carlsbad, CA.

Starbucks will be the title sponsor of the breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday morning. United Airlines will be the official airline of the Ladies First Celebrity Golf Classic. Limelight Solutions will be the official creative and interactive sponsor.

In addition to U.S. soccer team's stars, such as Julie Foudy, Brandy Chastain and Kristine Lilly, other female sports celebrities, such as Cammi Granato, Dawn Riley and Kathy Smith are expected to be in attendance, as are such Hollywood luminaries, Geena Davis, Téa Leoni, Cheryl Ladd and Meredith Philips.
