Nintendo Plays First Music Gig
Nintendo of America is stepping into the music-marketing arena this
summer with a 30-city tour that merges gaming and music. Alternative
rock band Evanescence headlines the tour, which kicks off on Aug. 4 in
Los Angeles and runs through September.
At each stop, concert-goers can play Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy
Advance games. US Concepts, New York City, handles for Nintendo. The
Nintendo Fusion tour is produced by New York City-based Clear Channel
Entertainment. Relay Sports and Event Marketing, Chicago, brokered the
tour for Redmond, WA-based Nintendo.
