Hospital Gowns to Arrive with TV Guides Promoting Grey’s Anatomy

The producer’s of the hit TV show “Grey’s Anatomy” are reminding viewers to watch the show with an unexpected campaign.
About 100,000 subscribers to TV Guide in both New York and Los Angeles—the top two markets for the series—will be receiving an ABC-branded, life-size hospital gown ploybagged with the Sept. 24 issue of the magazine.
“People have high expectations for Grey's, so we have to raise the bar and be unexpected with our creative and the Grey's gown is a fun way to reinvigorate the excitement for the show's return,” said Darren Schillace, VP, Advertising and Marketing, ABC Entertainment.
The new episodes, which chronicle the lives of doctors working in life and death situations at Seattle Grace Hospital, begin Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. ET.
“If we see people walking around the office in the Grey's hospital gown, we'll know we've done our jobs and the fans are ready,” Schillace said. “Let's just all remember the gowns are backless, so keep your clothes on.”Got it. Thanks!
