Ellen DeGeneres to Write American Greetings Cards

Ellen DeGeneres adds humor to American Greetings cards

Popular daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has partnered with American Greetings to produce a signature line of humorous greeting cards.

The 32-card Ellen Collection will feature illustrations of the comedian along with her witty and quirky observations about daily life. Selections will include birthdays, friendship, thank you and encouragement.

The cards will be available beginning this summer at major super centers, drug stores and grocery stores carrying American Greeting products.

“Her authentic humor embodies exactly what today’s women find the funniest,” said Steven Willensky, senior vice president of sales and marketing for American Greetings. “The everyday, shared experiences she jokes about are far funnier than anything that could be made up, and are exactly what endears her to so many people.”
