Welch's Signs Regis Philbin as Spokesperson

Welch's Foods has hired popular talk show host Regis Philbin as its new spokesperson for Welch's 100% Grape Juice.

He will be featured in a series of 30-second radio spots that talk up the health benefits of the juice. The ads began airing last week and will continue into next year.

The company said that Philbin drinks a glass of the juice each day along with a "vigorous" workout.

The deal with Philbin follows a partnership with CNN's Larry King.
