Stater Bros. Sponsoring Busch Series Race

Stater Bros. Supermarkets and partners Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Gatorade and Tropicana, have signed a letter of intent to be the title sponsor of the Stater Bros. 300 NASCAR Busch Series race at California Speedway in Fontana, CA.

The sponsorship agreement begins with the Feb. 26 race and will run through 2009. The deal makes the grocer the "Official Grocery Store of the California Speedway." Financial terms were not disclosed.

Stater Bros. is also the title sponsor of the "Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous," an automotive street fair held in the streets of downtown San Bernardino, CA.
