Pillsbury Debuts First Branded Line of Ice Cream
Pillsbury is out with its first branded line of premium ice cream, featuring none other than...the Pillsbury Doughboy.

Each 56-ounce container of the ice cream will retail for $4.99 to $5.49. The packaging features the Pillsbury Doughboy marking the first time in Pillsbury's 135-year history that the brand has been associated with ice cream.
General Mills said that ice cream was a natural extension for the Pillsbury brand.
"We view licensing as a great way to extend our brands to new isles in the store and well as to new channels," Pam Kermisch, director of licensing for General Mills said yesterday.
An FSI dropped last weekend in support of the launch.
