Pepsi Offers First Pitch at World Series Game Via Walgreens

Pepsi, through a partnership with Walgreens, is offering customers the chance to throw a ceremonial first pitch at the Major League Baseball World Series.

The sweeps is offered exclusively to consumers who shop at Walgreens. The grand-prize winner gets a trip for four to a 2005 World Series game including airfare, accommodations, game tickets, $500 in cash and the chance to throw the first pitch. Some 500 first-prize winners get 2005 World Series T-shirts; 100 second prizes are $20 Walgreens gift cards and 500 third-prize winners get MLB World Series commemorative baseballs.

Consumers can enter at Walgreens or via specially marked 2-liter Pepsi products.

In-store radio, a mention at Pepsi.com and local radio tags support.
