Travel Channel in Deal with Reader's Digest
The Travel Channel entered a media and marketing deal with The
Reader's Digest Association, Inc. for the network's new series John
Ratzenberger's Made in America, which premiered Jan. 6.
Host John Ratzenberger tours factories producing uniquely American
products including Harley Davidson motorcycles, Ivory Soap,
Hasbro/Parker Brothers Monopoly games, Welch's Grape Juice, Craftsman
tools and Goodyear tires.
As part of the partnership, the Travel Channel incorporates Reader's
Digest into 20 episodes of the series with recognition spots at
both the beginning and end of the program featuring the company's logo.
Tune-in and program information is featured in the "Only in America"
section of Reader's Digest.
