PartyPoker.com Sponsors Lingerie Bowl after Dodge Pulled out
Poker Web site PartyPoker.com has stepped in as the title sponsor of
the controversial Lingerie Bowl airing Super Bowl Sunday after
DaimlerChrysler Corp. withdrew from the deal last month.
The AIDS Research Alliance of America has signed as the charity
sponsor.
DaimlerChrysler cancelled its Dodge sponsorship after receiving
complaints from Dodge dealers, female buyers and women who work for
Chrysler about the show involving scantily-clad women.
The Lingerie Bowl is a game of contact football between 26 women to air
on pay-per-view television during halftime of Super Bowl XXXVIII. The
game airs Feb. 1.
