Suave to Send Moms to the Spa

Now that the kids are back in school, Suave wants to pamper moms with a one-day field trip to a Beverly Hill spa.

In partnership with actress Jenny McCarthy, the day of beauty on Oct. 1 at the LuKaRo salon will include makeovers from celebrity hairstylist Luke O’Connor and his team.

The offer is promoted at Suave.com, where Los Angeles residents can either sign up via an 800 number or through e-mail. A tell-a-friend component lets people spread the word.

The moms who participate also get the chance to win a $20,000 grant for their child’s after school programs. The school with the most moms who attend the field trip will earn the prize.

Across the country, PTA members will receive exclusive beauty packs from Suave, owned by Unilever, that include products, survey stats, tips and coupons.

A sweepstakes at Suave.com offers the chance to win one of five grand-prize trips to LuKaRo to get a new hair style, as well as daily beauty prizes. The instant-win prizes include beauty products, one hair care and one skin care regimen, one deodorant and a one-year subscription to Oprah and Redbook magazines.The sweeps ends Oct. 15.
