Pond's is boosting sales with a sweeps dangling a trip to Rome

Pond's says why wait for him to ask you out, it's okay to take a chance and ask him out on a dream date to Rome via its new sweepstakes.

The Pond's Play the Divine Dates Sweepstakes & Instant-Win Game is an on-pack promo that let's consumers enter some 2.5 million codes found on specially marked packages of Pond's products at Ponds.com for a chance at the grand prize—a five-day, four-night trip for two to Rome, including five star accommodations, meals and tours, an afternoon at a spa, a private car for two days and $1,000 in spending money.

Players are also automatically entered into the instant-win game with prizes such as 10 spa weekends for two at Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa in Carefree, AZ, 1,000 free movie tickets and a $25 gift certificate for dinner. Pond's follows up with contestants by sending samples, info or special offers. The promotion ends Sept 24.
