Krispy Kreme, Magazine Launch Recipe Contest

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. is teaming up with Taste of the South magazine to search out new Krispy Kreme dessert recipes for a chance to win a cookware prize pack.

People who submit a recipe using any variety of Krispy Kreme doughnuts can enter to win Lodge cookware, a Viking mixer and $250 Krispy Kreme gift cards and a cookbook collection and other prizes totaling $1,700.

Recipes can be submitted to KrispyKreme.com or Tasteofthesouthmagazine.com through Oct.15. A panel of judges, including Krispy Kreme executive chef Ron Rupocinski, will judge the entries and select four finalists.

The finalists’ entries, including the winner’s, will be featured in Taste of the South magazine.

People who don’t want to enter the contest can submit their e-mail address to receive a copy of the winning recipes.
