Hostess Launches Instant-Win Game Tied to Baseball

Hostess is giving away trips to ball games in its latest instant-win game.

Hostess is out with an instant-win game tied to one of America’s favorite sport—baseball.

Millions of packages of Hostess Twinkies, Cupcakes, Donettes and Baseballs that carry baseball-themed imaging feature a game code printed in or on the boxes. The codes can be entered online at www.hostesscakes.com or by text message with the short code “4TRIPS” to 487477 to learn if they are a winner.

Four grand-prize winners will each receive a trip for four to New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago to see a 2008 regular baseball season game. Each trip includes a three-day stay in the city, airfare, tickets to a Major League Baseball game and $250 spending money.

Online marketing and P-O-P support the promotion, which runs through June. Momentum Worldwide developed the concept and executed the program.
