Suave, Dollar General Set Scholarship Contest
Price-conscious Suave and Dollar General help kids save for college
Unilever's Suave brand partners with discount retailer Dollar General for a contest awarding $300,000 in scholarships.
The essay contest, open to kids aged five through 18, dangles a grand-prize $10,000 scholarship and three first-prize scholarships of $5,000 each. (Seven hundred second-prize winners get a $400 Dell gift card.)
Entrants submit a Dollar General receipt showing purchase of four Suave products and a 100-word essay on what education means to them. The contest runs through July 9; winners will be announced Aug. 16. Integrated Marketing Services, Norwalk, CT, handles.
