Cinnabon Promo Says “Tax Day Bites”

Flyers help Cinnabon promote its "Tax Bites" giveaway.

Cinnabon is hoping to poke a little fun at the stress tax day can cause Americans with a promotion called “Tax Day Bites.”

On April 15, customers visiting Cinnabon bakeries in malls across the country will be served up an order of free Classic Bites from 5 pm to 8 pm.

The giveaway is part of the company’s new “Life Needs Frosting,” positioning, which includes redesigning bakeries, developing new products and showcasing the brand’s specialty beverages, among other initiatives.

A supporting contest to can be entered though April 15. It offers people the chance to win a $100 gift card after explaining in 50 words or less how Cinnabon made a bad day more delightful.
