Build-A-Bear Workshop Debuts ‘Hannah Montana’ Bear

Build-A-Bear Workshop is backing its newest stuffed bear tied to Disney’s “Hannah Montana” with a sweepstakes offering the chance to a trip to the TV show set.

People can enter the “Hannah Montana Star Stylin’ Sweepstakes” in-store or online at www.DisneyChannel.com/starstylin through Oct. 14. People who enter in-store will also receive a Build-A-Bear Workshop virtual gift redeemable at www.buildabearville.com, the company’s virtual world.

One grand-prize winner gets a trip for four to Los Angeles for a VIP visit to the set of Disney's “Hannah Montana” series. The grand prize includes a photograph on set, a meet and greet with cast members, a shopping spree in Los Angeles, makeover a visit to Build-A-Bear Workshop to make a “Hannah Montana” bear. One hundred first-prize inners will each receive a “Hannah Montana” bear dressed in the “Ready to Rock” outfit with a gem purse.

Build-A-Bear Workshop teamed up with Disney on the promotion.

The Hannah Montana bear hits stores Thursday. Each sells for $22 in the U.S. and comes with a pendant necklace. For a limited time, people who make this bear in store will also receive 3,000 Bear Bills to spend at www.buildabearville.com the Build-A-Bear Workshop virtual world.

Build-A-Bear Workshop is promoting the sweepstakes on its Web site, with in-store signage, in its newsletter and via e-mail blasts.
